Eva Bartz studied law and English and Russian studies. While working in Afrika, Canada, Belgium, and Germany, she gained national and international business experience.
Eva is the managing director.

Prof. Dr. Thomas Bartz-Beielstein

Since 2006, when he became a professor for Applied Mathematics at TH Köln, Thomas has built a research team of international status and visibility. He is speaker of the research center Computational Intelligence plus at TH Köln and head of the SpotSeven team. His expertise lies in optimization, simulation, and statistical analysis of complex real-world problems. He is one of the leaders in the field of statistical analysis of optimization algorithms and the inventor and the driving force behind the sequential parameter optimization technology (SPOT). B. Sc. Dimitri Gusew

B. Sc. Dimitri Gusew received his Bachelor from TH Köln in 2013. Dimitri is experienced in simulation and mechanical engineering.

Dr. Olaf Mersmann

Dr. Olaf Mersmann studied Physics, Computer Science and Data Sciences at the TU Ilmenau, Phillips University of Marbug and the TU Dortmund. Before joining the Bartz & Bartz Team Olaf worked as an independent statistical consultant, was the CEO of the m3 Beratungsgesellschaft mbH. His research focuses on bridging the gap between classical statistics and black-box optimization.

B. Eng. Quoc Cuong Pham

B. Eng. Quoc Cuong Pham received his Bachelor from TH Köln. He is experienced in simulation and mechanical engineering.

M. Eng. Jörg Stork

M. Eng. Jörg Stork is a research associate at TH Köln. He earned his bachelor´s degree in electrical engineering with focus on automation at TH Köln, continued his studies in the master program Automation & IT and graduated in 2013.
His interests include genetic programming, parameter optimization and modern methods for time-series analysis and classification.
Jörg is an experienced programmer with a strong background in C and R.

M. Sc. Jan Strohschein

M. Sc. Jan Strohschein is a research associate at TH Köln. He earned his bachelor´s degree in computer science with focus on databases, data mining, and business intelligence TH Köln, continued his studies in the master program Computer Science and graduated in 2015.
He has advanced knowledge in Java, SQL, and Python and is SAP and Oracle certified associate.

M. Eng. Martin Zaefferer

M. Eng. Martin Zaefferer is a PhD student at TH Köln. He is doing his PhD thesis in cooperation with TU Dortmund University. From 2010 until 2012 he was a master student of Engineering in Automation & IT. He studied electrical engineering with a focus on automation at TH Köln and graduated in 2010 (diploma). His research interests include computational intelligence, applications of knowledge discovery and sequential parameter optimization. Martin is an experienced programmer with a strong background in R and Matlab.
